Add Buttons

Choose the "options" button for your blog and you’ll find HTML code you can paste to your website, which will allow your listeners to subscribe to your blog with just one click.

We recommend you place all four next to your widget:

  • Subscribe at Tribal Shout: This HTML code will place a Tribal Shout badge on your site. Users who click it will be taken to Tribal Shout and automatically subscribe your blog to their account so they can listen on their phone.

If you also have a podcast or collection of podcasts hosted elsewhere, you can click here to generate HTML code to ensure your listeners have the option to access it from their phone.
Add this feed to your Tribal Shout account
  • Subscribe with iTunes: This HTML code will place an iTunes badge on your site. Users who click it will automatically have your blog added to their iTunes. If they don't have iTunes, we'll detect it and offer to let them download iTunes from Apple.
Add Tribal Shout feed to iTunes
  • Your RSS Feed: Every podcaster should make the link to their RSS feed available. This HTML code will place a badge on your site that takes them to the RSS code. The user can copy that link into the podcatcher software of their choice.
    Get Tribal Shout RSS URL
  • Visit at Tribal Shout: This HTML code will provide a link back to a page at Tribal Shout that lists your podcast exclusively. This link makes it easy for users to peruse your podcast using the Tribal Shout service.
    Visit this Podcast

Create Your Own Channel

As a registered user, you can create a new channel, find and organize all your favorite podcasts in the order you want to listen to them and get started. Here’s how it works:

  • Morning Commute: Say you’d like listen to The New York Times, Wall Street Journal and ESPN during your morning commute. Find these podcasts, organize them in the order you’d like to listen to them, and name this channel “Morning Commute.” When you dial 415-373-0673, you will be prompted to start listening to “Morning Commute, and you’ll hear episode 1 of each podcast.
  • Friends' Blogs: If your friends have invited you to listen to their audio blogs, create a special “friends” channel so you can listen to them and stay up to date on their most recent episodes.
