Dear friends, I hope you watched the Discovery channel special on the tomb of Jesus on Sunday night. It would have been better if you watched the follow up by Ted Koppel. By the time both programs were over, I felt so sorry for these guys who ventured to prove the bodily resurrection of Jesus false. Not only that they miserably failed in their quest, they were pelted by secular scholars in the Ted Koppel program. "Jesus never looked so good!" was the thought in my mind as I went to sleep finally. As I suggested last Sunday, it has become customary during the season of lent for someone to dig up some new dirt on Jesus. It was Peter Jennings and ABC during the 90's into early 2000's. Then the task was taken over by Dan Brown and company. They made millions off Jesus. That has turned Jesus bashing into the new gold rush for the liberal media. This trend will only increase as the church become more weak and shallow in the West and even the Evangelical scholars are trying to be politically correct. As the moral moorings of this nation are becoming loose, expect more attacks on Christianity. As Julius Huxley said of the generation of Darwin, they need it to justify their wild, immoral life style. Well, the time may have to separate the tare and the wheat. I hear the swish of the winnowing fan.
